What attracted you to following QBL?

 

Still trying to figure that one out!!! 

First time you watched QBL?

2004 season i saw Ipswich Eagles vs. Southern Districts Spartans. I remember getting lost at Ipswich made a wrong turn walk for like 500 meters until i realised i shouldnt have turned in the first place, still managed to get in time to the game!

 

Memorable moment you saw in a QBL game?

 

Jeff Morton smashing the backboard when Southern District were playing Toowoomba in 04! Also Winning a boom box at a raffle at Brisbane vs Cairns in 2013 was pretty sweet!

 

Memorable game you watched in QBL?
 

In term of intensity i got to say the 2015 finals series between Mackay and Brisbane Capitals. In terms of overall talent nothing comes close to the 2004 grand final between Cairns and Townsville.

Best QBL import you have seen play?

 

Such a tough question, Chehales Tapscott from Rockhampton springs to mind thought are too many to choose from. It terms of womens without a doubt Sue Moran from Rockhampton 

 

Best dunker you have seen in QBL?

Pierre Jallow from Mackay back in the day had some ferocious dunks 

 

Best Aussie you seen play in the QBL?

 

In terms of mens i liked the dominance of Cameron Tragardh, irrespective of the team he was in, you knew he would dominate game in game out. Women's without hestitation Jessica Bibby and Nat Hurst, Bibby in particular her work ethic second to none  

 

Best stadium to film at?

Brisbane, Northside (when they were at Boondall), Toowoomba, Gold Coast, South West, Logan basically any stadium that has space. Brisbane and South West hold a lot of good memories for me 

 

Worst Stadium to film at?

 

Ipswich and Maroochydore, both are stadiums that crammed up and have steep seating, difficult to set up, easy to mistep and take a tumble 

Weirdest moment you expereince in QBL?

A former QBL women's player came to me at an Ipswich game and asked me if i was Adam Gibson twin brother ?!!
