Road to the Playoffs, Women Scenarios
Situation for first place overall Rockhampton Cyclones (14-1) and Mackay Meteorettes (12-3) Rockhampton only need a win to assure themselves of hosting a grand final. They could either do it this weekend vs. Mackay or wait for the last round against Ipswich (both at home). Mackay would need to win out their remaining games(including by 6 points or more against the Cyclones) and hope that Ipswich can cause an upset.
Situation for second place in North pool
Mackay Meteorettes (12-3) and Townsville Flames (11-4)
Mackay have a huge split over Townsville (2-0, +66), so they only need a win from their remaining 2 games to assure themselves of semi final hosting. Townsville would need to beat both SC Rip and Bundaberg in their last two games and Mackay lost theirs. Situation for first place in Central Pool Logan Thunder (10-4) and Brisbane Capitals (8-7)
Logan has virtual secured top spot in the Central Pool. They have a 2 win lead over Brisbane and a +15 advantage on the first game. Could assure themselves first place with a win on Friday, against Toowoomba.
Situation for second place in Central Pool Brisbane Capitals (8-7) and Bundaberg Bears (7-7) Brisbane have one foot in the playoffs with an advantage on the split against Bundaberg (1-1, +9), so Brisbane only need one win against Logan or Toowoomba. Bundaberg have a tough ask with Gladstone, Townsville and Cairns all away, would need to win all their games and hope that Toowoomba can provide a major upset in the last round. Situation for first place in South Pool Ipswich Force (8-6) and Gold Coast Rollers (7-8)
Both teams have secured playoff spots, and Gold Coast has the slightest of advantages (1-1, +1). Gold Coast would need to win out (vs. SW Metro and @ Toowoomba) to assure themselves of first place. Ipswich need to beat SC Phoenix Clippers and one of out Rockhampton/Mackay to get first place
